Cloud Computing The Implementation System

Question: Discuss about the Cloud Computing for The Implementation System. Answer: Introduction The assignment has been made on the topic of Cloud Computing technology. Child protection board has to follow some guidelines for fulfilling the requirements of the PaaS implementation system. The complete assignment has been divided into four parts. The first part is a study of the requirements of the remote administration, resource management and SLA at Child Protection Board. It is important for understanding the importance of these factors for implementing the cloud system (Garcia et al., 2014). The second part of the assignment is the study of the application resilience of the cloud system. It would show that resilience of the application is very crucial for cloud computing service. The disaster recovery is useful for recovering the lost data. The third part has shown the use of Erls guidelines for the assessment of the cloud computing service at Child Protection Board. The fourth part of assignment consists of summary on the cloud computing system. Importance of SLA, Resource Management, and Remote Administration Importance of SLA Management The SLA management of the cloud service would benefit the Child Protection Board with Performance Enhancement and Reliable Information. Performance Enhancement: The SLA management would help the Child Protection Board with the enhancing of the performance. The data access would be faster and more efficient. Reliable Information: The SLA management provides the benefit of getting reliable and efficient information from different resources (Pahl, 2015). The ethical conduct of the data stored in the cloud system would be aligned with its genuine nature. Importance of Resource Management The SLA management of the cloud service would benefit the Child Protection Board with expansion of operations and increase of data transfer rate. Expansion of operations: The resource management would ease the expansion of the information system of Child Protection Board. The automatic update option of the cloud system would provide the benefit of storing more data sets. Increase of data transfer rate: The resource management would increase the data transfer rate for Child Protection Board. According to Pahl (2015), the cloud system has higher rate of data transfer system that other information storage system. Importance of Remote Administration The remote administration of the cloud service would benefit the Child Protection Board with Access from any location and Gaining insights on the data. Access from any location: The remote administration is useful for providing the benefit of data access from any location (Garcia et al., 2014). The stakeholders of the Child Protection Board could get the information and data whenever they want irrespective of the location and time. Gaining Insights: The remote administration would help in gaining insights about the operations and activities of the Child Protection Board. The management of the database would be highly accelerated by the use of remote administration. Operational Checklist of Morad and Dalbhanjan Operations for the checklist Check Security of the database system would be important for securing the information of the Child Protection Board ? Identification of the authorizing users is important for restricting the unknown users for access of data and information ? The amount of data must be kept in classified format for ease of access ? Table 1: Operational Checklist for cloud service (Source: Addis et al. 2013, pp-253) Application Resilience and Disaster Recovery Application Resilience of Cloud Service The Child Protection Board would implement the cloud service for storing the data and information of their stakeholders. The use of application resilience in their operations would help in providing application services, portability and integrated operations. Application services: The application services would help the Child Protection Board with application based services (Addis et al. (2013). It would facilitate the storage for the data of Child Protection Board. The application system would be scalable in nature and the database could adopt as much data and information as required. Portability: Cloud Service provides the most important functionality of remote access of data and information (Verissimo, Bessani Pasin, 2012). The cloud service at Child Protection Board would also help the organization with the portable data storage system. Integrated operations: The operations of the cloud services is integrated at a single database (Sharma Santharam, 2013). All the operations of the Child Protection Board can be done using the same database of the cloud network. Disaster Recovery in Cloud Service The technological advancement had made people dependent on it for all their activities. All the data and information of the Child Protection Board would be stored in the cloud based information system (He, Wang, Gao Tang, 2015). However, there is possibility that the information and data may get lost or destroyed in any fatal accident. Hence it is important for keeping a backup of the data stored on the cloud network. The cloud computing system provide the feature of restoring the data that has been lost due to any typical error. According to Vora (2015), the cloud computing system is beneficial in cases of emergency and fast access of the data. The option of Virtual machine would help in forming the data recovery option for the cloud network. SLA or Service Level Agreement management of Erl The Service Level Agreement or SLA management consists of many typical factors such as ethical values, organization, values system, human rights, priority, and objectives. Date: 15th October, 2016 Child Protection Board Service Level Agreement Document Holder: Cloud Vendor Version of the Agreement: 2.61 Overview of the Agreement The formed agreement had provided and overview of the SLA agreement provisions that has been made in between the Cloud vendor and the beneficiary party of service, Child Protection Board. The sustentation of the cloud services and its storage is the primary goal. Scope of the Service The scope of the service provided by the cloud vendor are cloud service provision (virtual data storage system) and support for the Child Protection Board. Requirements of the Customers The cloud vendor would have to meet all the requirements of the Child Protection Board and their queries for the cloud service. Table 2: Service Level Agreement (Source: Genez et al., 2012, pp-912) Summarization of the Assessments Executive Summary The two assessments have demonstrated a reasonable idea of the distributed computing model for Child Protection Board. PaaS cloud administration can be actualized in the association and it would help in profiting the staff with the adaptability, availability, compliance, and disaster recovery of data. The cost examination has demonstrated that the cloud framework gave by Intuit QuickBooks has least costing for cutting and controlling the monthly membership. Hence it is proposed for being implied in Child Protection Board. The application strength and virtualization can be valuable for scaling the capacity over the cloud and information recuperation if there should be an occurrence of fiasco separately. Opportunity and Risk factors of Cloud System Opportunities Risks Large data management The large set of data of the organization can be easily managed Complex Implementation Design The design for implementation of the cloud service is complex Remote or wireless accessibility The cloud service would provide accessibility of the storage system from any place Can be hacked externally The wireless system of the cloud service can be accessed from anywhere and hence it is liable to be hacked by using means of hacking Scalable (the storage space can be modified) The increase in the amount of data could be adapted in the system of the cloud service. Flaws in security design The flaws in the security of the cloud service has made it prominent to fail for long run Backup and Recovery The backup and recovery would help in restoring of the data when the data has been mistakenly erased or lost Misuse of the data The data of the cloud system could be used by any internal member for personal gain Table 3: Opportunities and Risk Factors for cloud service (Source: Sadiku et al., 2014, pp-35) References Addis, B., Ardagna, D., Panicucci, B., Squillante, M.
